Fellowes Wins Internationally Prestigious "Red Dot" Award for Product Design
Earglove Apex Mobile Headset by Body Glove® Selected for Form and Function
April 21, 2005/Itasca, Ill. - Fellowes, Inc., a worldwide leader in consumer
electronics accessories, and Body Glove International, a leading active
lifestyle brand, were selected by an international jury to receive the coveted
"Red Dot" award for product design for the Body Glove® branded Earglove Apex .
Earglove Apex is the most recent product release in the mobile headset family
from Body Glove. It is designed to provide a sleek, comfortable and fashionable
cellular option, while maintaining ultra clear sound quality - ideal for people
on the go.
The competition was based in Germany and received approximately 1800 entries
from 36 countries. It is one of the biggest and most respected design
competitions in the world. The entries were judged on degree of innovation,
aesthetic quality, realization possibility, functionality and usefulness,
manufacturing efficiency, ergonomics and human interface and emotional content.

Earglove Apex is versatile and can be worn on the right or left ear, adjusting
to fit consumers comfortably. It boasts unique features such as a dedicated
mute button, volume controls and an answer/end button all in one convenient
pod. The pod also acts as a cord winder so you can adjust the cord to your
desired length.
The benefits of winning this award include special exhibition in the Red Dot
Design Museum in Essen, Germany, the world's biggest design museum with a
traveling exhibition in Asian cities. And, two exclusive presentations
including the International Yearbook for the "Red Dot Award: Design Concept
2005" and the Internet at the Red Dot Winner Lounge.
Earglove Apex will be available at select stores nationwide this June and at
major retail stores nationwide in September 2005.
