Star+ 150 Manual Comb Binding Machine
Great organizational tool
I am a quiltmaker and knitter. I have a large quantity of patterns for both these hobbies (and lesser quantities of a few other hobbies). My sock knitting patterns had become unmanageable, plus the pattern suffered from being stuffed in my knitting bag. After spending an exhorbitant amount of money going to the copy shop to have my files bound, I chanced on this comb binding machine at my local Staples store. Having acquired it, I started setting up my files. One advantage is having all of one designer's patterns in one file; the second is the protection of the covers, and ease of access when referencing the pattern as I work. It's so simple to operate and I have all the components to create about 75 binders for the price at the copy shop of about 20. I also like the fact that I can add pages, and indeed, have done that twice as additional patterns have arrived. This was a great purchase! My sister-in-law is going to love having her quilt retreat packet all beautifully bound.

Overall it did the job it was suppose to. Wish it would punch more pages at a time. I did nearly 30 pages per booklet. So I had to break it up in 10 page increments. A bit of a hassle because of that. But otherwise did a great job.
