I have struggled with lower back pain for so many years and sitting behind my desk was taking its toll. I asked for a solution and found this and wow, this is the best thing ever. I will be recommending this to all my colleagues. Keep up the good work.

Contra: i used different monitor arm for more flexibility
Of the three different types of sit/stand units I have tried, the Lotus was the “Cadillac” as far as ease of use and slim design. The spring is adjustable to allow for list assistance depending on weight. This was perfect for those, such as myself, that lack upper body strength. UPDATE- I AM LOVING THIS UNIT!!! So much so that my company made a large purchase for several of our offices and they too are enjoying theirs. Great product, I highly recommend.

Contra: it's heavy. need two people to place on desk.
If this desk is good enough for my home office, it should be good enough for every office - including your employer. This was one my big gripes about working inside a corporation - a proper desk that gave me and my colleagues flexibility to be more productive. The recent trend towards sit/stand office working shows that the benefits are many (better posture, increased calorie burn, clearer thinking, etc). Every employee should not be afraid to ask for this workstation at their job. I've used several other sit/stand desks, but the Fellowes DX Sit-Stand Workstation stands out because of the thoughtful built in features like built-in wireless Qi charging and 2 USB ports, smart cord management for monitors, keyboard and 2 rear USB ports, and something they call "Smooth Lift Technology" which makes going to the standing position, well, er, uh...smooth. I also love that I can lay my phone, notes and other tools for work right in front of my keyboard for easy access. It seems to provide additional desk space which I like. Overall, my every day technology is organized in one place, the design is sleek, modern and clean and has helped with my productivity, not to mention my health. Great product.

**Disclosure: I’m proud to be working with Fellowes to share how I #WorkBetter with the #Fellowes Lotus DX Sit-
Stand Workstation. All opinions expressed are my own, and all product claims should be verified
at Fellowes.com.** So, I received my Lotus DX from the company to test out a few weeks ago. I'm a writer and review tech products regularly. I was very curious if standing workstations were just a fad or actually a helpful working tool. After using my Lotus for a few weeks I'm happy to report that I get why people love sit-stand workstations so much! As a creative, being able to change my position while I work is proving to help me be more productive. Adjusting the Lotus from a sitting position to a standing one is an easy and smooth motion and I can quickly transition from standing to type to sitting for video calls. The workstation also has a large surface area, so I'm able to keep everything for work I need right in front of me. I use the keyboard on my laptop but there is plenty of room to use an external keyboard and mouse instead. The wireless charging pad also comes in handy and lets me keep my phone (iPhone 8+) charged without having to keep it attached to a cord. There are two USB on the front of the Lotus as well for charging devices. One callout I have for anyone considering the Lotus DX is to make sure to measure your desk surface. I have a smaller than average writing desk (30" X 20") and I didn't think to check the dimensions of the Lotus before it arrived. Luckily it fit on my desk, but I was worried when I saw the size when I opened the box. The second callout is the workstation weighs around 50 pounds, so you'll need a second pair of hands to lift it onto your desk the first time. Neither of these are real issues but items that weren't clear until it arrived. Overall, I totally love my Lotus DX and don't see myself going back to working without it.
