SO FAR SO GOOD I just purchased this item, so I can't comment on the long run. It is fast. My only gripe is with the noise level. My first shredder was quieter but by no means quiet. If anyone knows of a way to reduce the noise these things make, I would like to know. Otherwise, so far so good. April 11, 2013

like i just started to use my new machine and it seems really nice compared to my last one a lot more stable and solidly built. paid about the same price believe this one will last forever.. thanks fellowes December 26, 2012
