Powershred® W11C Cross-Cut Shredder
This was a replacement purchase for a old W11C model shredder that we used for I don't recall how many years. This past summer it received a heavy workout as we did a major document retention and destruction review.

my dear w-11c is no more, rip.
it was a great helper during the last year when i had to shred tons of personal papers from my mom's estate.
never a jam, never a whine, just perfect.
last night i shredded my store receipts, as usual. next i know there was this awful noise and i shut it down. opened it to see if i could help. a penny fell out. my bad habit of putting the roll of receipts with change and all into my pocket came back to haunt me.
now perfectly ok it tried to shred but again, more noise. so i took the screws out again. a quarter fell out.
what was left of it. it had been half shredded by this little bulldog of a machine. i think all that is left are about 18 cents out of 25.
sadly this experience killed the little chomper.
i just wanted to share with people in search of a dependable and strong shredder that it is an incredible machine and i will buy another one as soon as possible.
i still can't believe that it managed to shred half a coin in its fight to stay "alive".

I haven't used this a lot yet, but what I have shredded fed very easily, as much as 8 full sheets at a time. My old desktop shredder only took one (8-1/2X11) sheet at a time, and that sheet had to be folded to fit the small feeder opening. The only reason I didn't give this shredder a "5" is that it is a bit heavy to lift on and off to empty the basket. I do like it though.
