Motor mjust be powerful. It is very heavy. Dropped on foot when setting it up! Rollers are convenient but on a mat it moves almost too easily. Handle with care. It could tobble over. You must let is rest after 2 basketfuls to avoid over heating.

BEST PURCHASE EVER
I LOVE THIS SHREDDER! IT IS SO QUIET.DOES CREDIT CARDS,I DON'T HAVE TO REMOVE STAPLES.I LIKE HAVING THE CASTERS AS THESE MACHINES ARE NOT LIGHT AND I CAN MOVE IT TO WHERE I WANT.IF YOU ARE SERIOUSLY LOOKING FOR A SHREDDER THAT WILL DO ANYTHING THIS IS THE ONE YOU WANT.I HAVEN'T USED IT FOR CD'S YET BUT HAVE USED IT FOR CREDIT CARDS.I LIKE THE CROSSCUT SO MUCH BETTER AS IT IS VERY SMALL.I LIKE NOT HAVING TO EMPTY AS OFTEN AS IT TAKES QUITE AWHILE TO FILL THE CONTAINER.

Very quiet
It was time to hunt for a new shredded and I was adamant it had to be a Fellowes. I've used them before in my office which had a high rate of daily shredding and Fellowes shredders can stand some punishment. They seem pricie for home use but are worth every penny in my experience.
This shredder did not have many reviews on the internet so I was hesitent to try it. Glad I took the chance. It is QUIET! No shredder is whisper quiet but I can hear the TV over the shredder and hold a conversation while it is running. Big difference from the last, non-Fellowes shredder I had. The B-121C never over heated or auto shut-off while shredding. Though it has a 10 minute max continuous shred time, for receipts and bills you're probably not going to hit the shut-off wall. It has a CD shredder; I ran an old credit card through it to make sure the motor worked. I love that it's on wheels, has a 3' to 4' cord, and has a pull out waste bin.
Of course you are going to get left over pieces of shredded paper that fall out when you empty the bin, a vacuum hose will pick those right up. My only wish is that this was a Level 4 micro cut shredder but I didn't want to pay more for home use only; I nocked off a star for this. I think you'll find this to be a good purchase if you take the plunge.
