A: Yes, the Easy Glide comes unassembled in one box. You will also need a Phillips-head screwdriver which is not provided. As long as you properly follow the instruction manual it should take approximately 20-30 minutes to install.

A: It can hold 10.5 kg total (8 kg monitor, 2.5kg keyboard tray).

A: Yes, the Easy Glide attaches to the back of a desk via an adjustable clamp. The clamp works on desk depths 7.6mm to 50mm.

A: The Easy Glide has a maximum reach of 762mm; however, the Easy Glide can be used on desks as shallow as 533.4mm.

Recommended desk size for the Easy Glide™ Sit-Stand Work Platform

A: Under normal use, the platform is stable. If you want to maximize the durability of the product, please do not lean or apply excessive force to the keyboard platform. If the platform seems unstable during normal use, adjust the monitor arm tension (see below for location and instructions).

A: This is located on the upper part of the dynamic arm (part A), it appears zoomed in in Step 9 of the manual.

A: Please refer again to Step 9 in the manual. There is a tension adjustment bolt on the top of the dynamic arm. You will need the 8mm socket and 6mm allen key provided (alternatively you can use a socket wrench if preferred – not provided). Turn clockwise for heavier weights and counter clockwise for lighter weights.

A: This adjustment is shown in step 13 of the manual. On top of the lower arm is an adjustment that requires a 5mm allen key. Turn clockwise until your monitor stays at your preferred height. Note – don’t confuse this adjustment with the monitor tilt adjustment behind the VESA plate.

A: Behind the VESA plate is an adjustment that requires a 2.5mm allen key. Turn clockwise for heavier weights and counter clockwise for lighter weights until you are able to properly tilt your monitors. Please refer to step 12 of the manual.

A: There are multiple ways to install the mounting plate (clamp) onto the base. For thinner desks, use the most upper sets of holes, for thicker desks use the lower sets of holes. Per the manual, max desk thickness is 50.8mm and min desk thickness is 7.6mm.

A: Please refer to step 11 of the manual. You will first need to remove the cable cover from the dynamic arm. Then, route your cables along the arm and reinstall the cable cover on top of them.

A: Yes, please refer to step 10 of the manual. There is an adjustment at the bottom of the dynamic arm. This will require a 6mm allen key. Turn clockwise for heavier weights and counter clockwise for lighter weights.

A: Yes, the Extend comes unassembled in one box and includes hardware. You will also need a Phillips-head screwdriver which is not provided. As long as you properly follow the instruction manual it should take approximately 20-30 minutes to install.

A: The Extend can hold 13.6 kg total (11.3 kg monitor, 2.2 kg keyboard tray).

A: Yes, the Extend attaches to the back of a desk via an adjustable clamp. The clamp works on desk depths 15.8mm to 69.8mm.

A: The Extend has a maximum reach of 1,016mm (1,056.5mm including the clamp); however, the Extend can be used on desks as shallow as 584.2mm.

Extend™ Sit-Stand Work Platform

A: The Extend Dual can accommodate monitors up to 609mm (24”) in width. Extend single has no dimensional restrictions, only weight (11.3kg).

A: In order to place the M8 dynamic arm into the base you will need to remove the 180° stop screw located in the base. Please refer to step 3 in the manual, as you will need to remove the cable cover to access the screw.

A: Please refer to step 7 in the instruction manual. You will need to remove the 180° stop screw located at the top of the M8 arm.

Extend™ Sit-Stand Work Platform

A: Please follow the step 14 in the manual to adjust it flush to the desk, in order to find the angle adjustment bolt please remove the lower arm cover.

Extend™ Sit-Stand Work Platform

A: Please note that the monitor attachment plate has a direction on it indicating “top”, if not placed that way – there will be no option for quick release. If installed correctly, simply press the quick release tab and pull up on the monitor.

A: Yes, Extend offers 180° of rotation so you can easily move the Sit-Stand out of the way if needed.

A: Yes there are 3 different height settings your monitor can be at. Remove your monitors from the crossbar (dual) or monitor mount (single). Unscrew the crossbar (dual) or monitor mount (single) from the upper arm. If you’d like your monitor(s) to be lower, reinsert the crossbar or monitor mount into a lower set of screw holes on the upper arm.

A: Under normal use, the keyboard platform is stable. If you want to maximize the durability of the product, please do not lean or apply excessive force to the keyboard platform. If the keyboard platform seems unstable, you will need to adjust the monitor arm tension (see below).

A: Please refer to step 12 of the manual, the tension adjustment bolt is located in part E (M8 Dynamic Arm) under a high gloss cover.

A: Yes, please refer to steps 15 and 16 in the manual. You will start by removing the cable cover from the lower arm. Route your keyboard and mouse cables through the lower arm and down into the channel on the M8 arm. Route your monitor cables through the M8 arm. Next, remove the cable cover from the rear of the base and guide all cables through. Reinsert both cable covers (lower arm and base).

Lotus™ Sit-Stand Workstation
 

A: No, the workstation comes fully assembled out of the box. All you’ll need to do is set up your equipment using the cable management features and set the tension.

A: It can hold up to 15.8kg total; 13.6kg on the top platform and 2.2kg on the keyboard platform. We would not recommend using the product with less than 4.5kgs. You can adjust the tension with our Smooth Lift Technology (patent pending) to offset the weight of your equipment and accessories (between 4.5 – 15.8kg).

A: Monitors may have slightly different sized bases and frames, but if you are using a modern monitor from one of the large manufacturers, you should be able to fit two monitors side by side up to 610mm (24”).

A: No, the Lotus was designed as a stand-alone Sit-Stand that can sit on top of the desk and has been BIFMA tested to ensure stability. The workstation should be placed on a flat surface that can accommodate the entire width and depth of the product without overhang.

A: The Lotus has rubber feet that help protect the desk from scratching the surface of your desk.

A: The Lotus should be placed on a sturdy, flat surface at least 667mm deep and 858mm wide to have sufficient space for the product.

A: Under normal use, the platform is stable. If you want to maximize the durability of the product, please do not lean or apply excessive force to the keyboard platform.

A: Ensure your workstation is raised to the highest position and all of your items are placed on it. As per the image below, turn the knob clockwise (toward the + sign) for heavier weights and counter clockwise (towards the – sign) for lighter weights. Lotus is shipped at the lowest setting which is 4.5kg to get to the highest setting 15.8kg is 27 full rotations. For example, if you have two monitors that weigh 4.5kgs each and a keyboard and mouse that combined weigh 1.4kgs, you would turn the knob clockwise approximately 14 full rotations. The exact number of rotations depends on your personal comfort raising and lowering the platform. This is just a guideline.

A: These are meant for single use as specified in the manual. We have spare parts for purchase that we can supply. Please contact our customer services team on 00800 1810 1810 who will be happy to help.

Additionally you could also go to your local hardware store and purchase adhesive Velcro discs (3.5mm).

A: There are three locations in the rear cable channel that you can choose from. Find the slot that will best accommodate your setup and place the cable funnel into the slot. You will feel it magnetically attach to the Lotus. The cable funnel should now be in place.

A: First you will need to clamp the cable zip tool around all cables below the cable funnel (make sure the arrow on the cable zip tool is pointing upward). Next, take the cable zip and push upward into the tool so that the cable zip beings wrapping around the tool. Make sure the seam of the cable is facing the tool. Once it’s started, pull downward on the cable zip tool while holding the top of the cable zip. Continue sliding the tool until all cables are in the cable zip. Please refer to step 3 in the instruction manual.

A: Most cable lengths are an average of 2m, which should be sufficient for working when standing however it would be important to consider where the power sockets are located. The Lotus Sit-Stand Workstation raises 432mm above the desk. Ensure the Lotus is in the highest position when putting items on to ensure proper cable length.
