" My prior one lasted 8 years for personal use. Excellent Brand and worth the money. I used oil sheets for maintenance. Keeps the shredding blades in good shape. "

Cons: thinner plastic than expected.
" I decided to not use the wheels since the unit sits on the carpet. The wheels are sturdy and well-made. They'll live in the junk drawer, just in case. The unit is lighter than I expected, a thinner plastic than my old unit. Since I have neither children nor pets it should be just fine. It isn't silent, but the noise level is tolerable. And, yes, it really does shred credit/debit cards! My old shredder lasted over 20 years. We'll see if this one dies before I do. I'm very happy with my purchase. "

" This is my third Fellowes shredder. The first two performed beautifully in my home office. It has always been my own carelessness when I've caused a jam. My new shredder is yet an improvement over the first two. I love the coasters for mobility and the pull out shredder bin. Also "14" sheets!!!!!! The customer service is top notch and the products demonstrate longevity and durability. Also, an extra safety locking feature. Couldn't be happier. My holiday gift to myself! "
