" I bought my AERAMAX DX55 just as the forest fire smoke from the Bootleg Fire in southern Oregon and no doubt from the fires in BC began spewing over the Continental Divide and onto the high plains of Alberta where I live. I got the last one at my Canadian Tire store. Usually cautious when buying the 'last one' of anything, I expected the box to be ripped, no tape holding the top flap - in other words, a return. But no, the outer box came off smoothly to reveal a very nice product box. Inside, expertly contained by formed paper restraints was a very nice looking purifier. I took it out, read the instructions, made sure the filters were in the right place, plugged it in. As the smoke gathered outside my house, I slept soundly, lulled by the quiet purr of a subtle machine that simply did what it was made to do. I give it five stars. Beautifully designed, well made, and so good to own. "

" Does a great lob. Just replaced the carbon filter after 4 months operation when amber light came on. After replacement the amber light remained on. Don't know if there is a way to extinguish it. "

To reset the filter light, make sure that the panel of the air purifier is shut properly and that the machine is on; locate the filter icons on the display panel. Press and hold the filter icons for 3-5 seconds until you hear a short beep. At this time, the HEPA filter icon will flash amber. Tap the filter icon to alternate between the HEPA and carbon indicator lights. Once you the desired filter illuminated, press and hold the filter icon for 3-5 seconds until you hear a short beep. The indicator light should turn off. Repeat this process for each filter as needed.
