Effective Filtration

AeraMax Pro's filtration system has four-stages that actively work to clean the air you share. What makes the filtration process so extremely effective? AeraMax Pro air purifiers benefit from different functional filter types to eliminate air concerns down to ultrafine particles. Additionally, AeraMax Pro has a smart filter recognition technology that allows the air purifier to recognise what type of filter has been installed, allowing the machine to perform optimally per the type of filter inserted.

  • 1Pre-Filter

    The pre-filter actively removes large particles such as visible dust, pet dander, or pollen. The pre-filter also works to expand and protect the lifespan of other filters.

    2Active Carbon Filter

    The active carbon filter works to adsorb odours and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as cleaning agents, vapors from office equipment, and pesticides. Our commercial-grade carbon particle filters have more carbon content and surface area than typical consumer-grade carbon-impregnated weaves. This means they are designed to keep performance during their defined lifespan. While carbon filters remove odours and VOCs, they do not on their own remove dust and other allergens.

    3H13 HEPA filtration

    Our H13 HEPA filtration with antimicrobial treatments remove at least 99.95 percent of airborne particles at 0.1 microns while preventing bacteria and fungi build up. The antimicrobial treatment also kills any mould or mildew that can grow on the filter. H13 HEPA filtration removes dust, pollen, mould spores, dust mites, allergens, and many other bacterias. It is proven to be most effective compared to UV air purifiers, UV-C disinfection or Ultra-Violet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI).

    Our H13 HEPA filters conform to EN1822:2019 Standard, which proves at least 99.95% effectiveness at 0.1 micron size. Also, our standard True HEPA Filters conform to IEST 1.5 HEPA Standard, which proves 99.97% effectiveness at the 0.3 micron size. Our HEPA filters, like our carbon filter, is thicker and has more weaves allowing more surface area; the thicker weaves allow our air purifier to efficiently run more air through. So, more surface area allows our commercial-grade air purifiers to run more efficiently while maintaining the filtration standards.

    4PlasmaTRUE™ Technology

    PlasmaTRUE technology creates an electrical discharge that produces ions in the air... and those ions provoke particles in the air to be charged. These charged ions cause other oppositely charged ions to cluster together and become larger. When they become large enough, they fall to the floor or get caught in the filter. AeraMax Pro uses ionisation to help with its filtration process's overall efficiency, purifying the air even before it gets to the filter. By doing so, PlasmaTRUE technology works to extend filter life.

    Removes over 99.99% Of COVID-19

    All Fellowes AeraMax Pro air purifiers demonstrated, through independent laboratory testing, to be effective in eliminating aerosolised concentration of SARS-CoV-2 by 99.9999% through a single air pass test of the purifier. In addition, AeraMax Pro air purifiers reached 99.99% reduction of a surrogate Human Coronavirus 229E in a 20m³ test chamber within 1 hour of operation in a seperate test.

    Certified to Capture the Airborne Flu

    AeraMax Pro is certified to effectively reduce airborne concentrations of influenza A aerosol in a test chamber, reaching 99.9% airborne virus reduction within the first 35 minutes of operation.

    Our air purifiers use commercial-grade H13 HEPA filters designed to be highly effective for the capture of airborne viruses.

    The CDC recommends the use of HEPA filters as part of an overall strategy to reduce the amount of viruses in residential and commercial environments.
