" I bought this LX221 to replace a 15-year old shredder of German manufacture. It has proved a very competent performer, devouring everything that it’s been offered. I have a small home office & only need it every few days, although there are occasions when it is subject to heavy use. I particularly value its quality construction, and the status bar on its front. The fineness of its micro cut guarantees total security. It’s not a particularly cheap product, but it does give value for money. You DO get what you pay for. "
