PROJECT OVERVIEW

As part of the refurbishment of its office in Cheadle, O2 Business set out to create a modern workplace that reflected the evolving needs of its workforce. The vision was centred around openness, collaboration and flexibility, resulting in a bright and welcoming environment designed to support both focused work and team interaction.

To help achieve these objectives, Focus Dual Crossbar Monitor Arms and Desk In Cover power and connectivity solutions were incorporated throughout the workspace, delivering a clean and consistent workstation experience while supporting everyday user needs.

A key requirement of the project was to create a clutter-free environment that would enhance the overall aesthetic of the new office. The Focus Dual Crossbar Monitor Arm complemented the design intent by helping to maintain clear desk surfaces, supporting the open and relaxed feel of the workplace.

By elevating monitors from the desktop and enabling effective cable management, the solution contributes to a streamlined workstation appearance with minimal visible infrastructure. The result is a cleaner, more organised workspace that aligns with the contemporary look and feel of the refurbished office.

ENHANCING EVERYDAY WORKPLACE PERFORMANCE

Beyond aesthetics, the workstation solutions have become an integral part of daily working practices. Staff have responded positively to the flexibility and ease of use provided by the monitor arms and integrated power access.

The combination of ergonomic monitor positioning and accessible charging facilities helps employees keep essential devices powered and within reach throughout the working day. At the same time, the reduction of desktop clutter creates additional usable workspace, supporting productivity and improving the overall user experience.

POWER AND CONNECTIVITY WHERE IT'S NEEDED MOST

Desk In Cover units were installed in collaborative breakout spaces across the office, providing convenient access to power and connectivity for meetings, presentations and informal collaboration. As these areas are used throughout the day for a variety of purposes, ensuring reliable, easily accessible power was a key consideration.

To support individual workstations, Desk Up 2.0 desktop power solutions were installed, giving employees convenient access to charging directly from their desks. Together, the solutions enable staff and visitors to connect and power devices with ease, helping create a practical, flexible and productive workplace environment.

SMOOTH DELIVERY ACROSS A LARGE-SCALE REFURBISHMENT

Despite the scale of the project, installation was completed smoothly with minimal issues or delays. The straightforward installation process of the monitor arms and power solutions supported efficient project delivery and helped ensure timelines were successfully met.

DELIVERING ON THE PROJECT VISION

Since completion, the products have continued to support both the aesthetic and functional goals of the refurbishment. The Focus Dual Crossbar Monitor Arms, together with the Desk In Cover meeting room power solutions and Desk Up 2.0 desktop power solutions, were recommended to help maintain a clean and uncluttered workspace, enabling O2 Business to create an organised, user-friendly environment that supports flexible and modern ways of working.
